While we have initiated projects aimed at countering desertification and improving environmental sustainability, the sequencing of the date palm genome and the development of improved varieties lie at the core of our business. Large-scale composting and the production of seedlings and plantlets are current projects. The most urgent project for the immediate future, however, is the rapid plantation of palm trees.
